This evaluation situation is intended to give teachers some indication of the extent to which students have developed the competency Communicates by Using Mathematical Language. While this competency remains within the scope of the Quebec Education Program for mathematics as defined by the MELS, formal evaluation of this competency is no longer required. This evaluation situation consists of three tasks involving applications in Arithmetic and Algebra as well as in Geometry.
