In collaboration with several partners in the education sector and in the aeronautics industry as well as in the science and technology industry, BIM presents two learning and evaluation situations: Passion From Within for students at the elementary level and Passion for Flight for students at the secondary level. These situations are available in both French and English for Science and Technology programs.

Elementary Cycle Three

Passion from Within
Science and Technology, Elementary Cycle Three
Students learn about the forces involved in the flight of animals and planes. They make a glider and use their creativity to design a skill game activated by their plane.
Secondary Cycle One

Passion for Flight
Science and Technology, Secondary Cycle One
Students build a glider following a manufacturing process sheet and measure the effect of changing a parameter on the glider’s flight performance. They then follow the technological design process to obtain the best glider.
